GILBERTE (JILL) SOUYRI (nee LEGARE) Gilberte (Jill) Souyri (nee Legare) died July 10, 2000 at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. Jill was born on May 19, 1915 in Dunrea, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph M. Souyri, April 4, 1998. Jill is survived by her three children, Joyce (Frank) Tervoort, Benny (fiancee Glynis Black) and Jo-Anne; the grandchildren, Bruce (Debbie) Tervoort and great-grandchildren, Meghan, Derek and Brittany, Doug Tervoort and Randy (Rosa) Tervoort; her brothers and sisters, Angele Campbell, Emile Legare (Angele), Blanche Boulet, Raphael (Anita) Legare, Nazaire (Lucille) Legare. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Harry (Catherine) Souyri; her sister-in-law Marie (Norbert) Carney and brother-in-law Louis Souyri. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held at St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg on Thursday, July 13 at 7:30 p.m. following the regular evening Mass. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Felix de Valois Church in Dunrea, MB at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 14. Viewing will be prior to the Mass at the church. Flowers gratefully declined, if so desired donations may be made to The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, 276 Hugo St., N. Winnipeg, MB, R3M 2N6 or any charity of your choice. The family wish to extend a very special thank you to the staff at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their kindness and care shown to Jill while she was a resident there.
