LILLIAN FREDA SIGMUNDSON It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on July 10, 2000 at the age of 79 years. Left to cherish many happy memories are children, Danny, Gisli (Joan), Tammy Axelsson (Gretar) ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister Helga Tomasson (Helgi) and numerous nieces and nephews. The Watcher by Margaret Widdenemer She always leaned to watch for us Anxious if we were late, In winter by the window and in summer by the gate. And though we mocked her tenderly Who had such foolish care, The long way home would seem more safe Because she waited there. Her thoughts were all so full of us She never could forget. So I think that where she is She must be watching yet, Waiting til we come to her, Anxious if we are late, Watching from Heavens window Leaning from Heavens gate. Lillian was always a source of strength and courage to those who knew her. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. A private service will be held. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli in care of arrangements.
