MARGARET MONKMAN With great sadness on July 10, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre Margaret Monkman peacefully passed away with her family by her side. Margaret was born on May 25, 1936, and raised in Kandahar, SK, later moving to Winnipeg, MB, where she lived the latter part of her loving life in the West Kildonan area. Margaret was predeceased by her husband John on June 18, 1997; brothers, Arthur, Herb and Robert Unger. Margaret is survived by her beloved daughter Catherine (Dave) Van Gompel; grandchildren, Michael and Danielle Van Gompel; brother Albert (Minnie) Unger of Wynyard, SK; sisters, Erna Wesley of Vancouver, Alimina (Fritz) Pearrow of New Mexico, USA, and Alida (Al) McRae of Winnipeg. Also, many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Tan and the staff of the Health Sciences Centre. A special thanks to Peter Sansome of the Health Sciences Centre for his loving care and comforting to Margaret and her family. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
