Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE MAY HESKA (SCOTT) It is with great sadness that the family of Alice May Heska announces her passing on July 10, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre. May was born in Champion, Alberta in 1918. She served as a Corporal in the Womens Armed Services during the Second World War and continued with the federal civil service at the Fort Osborne barracks, until retirement in 1983. May was predeceased by her husband Sylvester (Rusty) Heska in 1976. May enjoyed life and two of her greatest pleasures were travelling the world with close friends and family and playing bridge. Bridge was an activity she took up late in life; bringing her enjoyment as a student and participant. May always had time for other people, she was a good listener, a caring person and fun to be with. She will be missed by her sisters, Florence (Betty) Konefal and Dorothy (Dolly) Jackson and her many nieces and nephews. A service will be held in her memory at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
