Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET FRASER (1911 - 2000) Margaret Fraser (nee Appleyard) died peacefully in Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, July 12, 2000. She was predeceased by her husband William (Q.C.) her infant son Edward and her sister Winnifred Cranston. She will be fondly remembered by her two sons, William and James; her daughters-in-law, Shirley and Marjorie; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Heather, Susan, David and his fiancee Joanne Pelletier and James; her great-grandchildren, Darren and Megan; nieces and nephews and her friends at Lions Manor. She resided in Winnipeg all her life. After graduating from St. Johns High School and attending business college, she worked as an office secretary until her marriage in 1937. She has been involved in volunteer work, most recently as a volunteer for ten years at Victoria General Hospital. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley Street with Val Christopherson officiating. The grandchildren will be pallbearers. Burial will take place at Garry Memorial Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lions Manor or a charity of your choice.
