FRANCES KENNEDY Frances Kennedy, formerly of Winnipeg, passed away at Ivys Care Home in Earl Grey, Sask., on Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at the age of 78 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter Hornby, Nanny and Oscar Bourke and brother-in-law Hugh. Frances is survived by her loving husband Lorne; her children, Dawn Parker, Fran (Bill) Poirier, all of Winnipeg, Linda (Con) Krug of Southey and Jim (Bunny) Robinson of Oakville, Ont.; stepchildren, Linda (Bob) Lindsay of Edmonton, George Kennedy of Mission, B.C., Doug (Wendy) Kennedy of Aldergrove, B.C.; two sisters, Gloria Clarke of Barrie, Ont., Gladys Hopkins of England; two brothers, Clint (Rona) Hornby and Gary Hornby, all of Winnipeg, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends, Judy Bednaz, Birtie Bell, Irene Meashan, Mel Pageot. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 15, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Unser-Rist Funeral Home, 2080 E. Victoria Ave., with Pastor Jack Bridal officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Ivy. Fran will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
