EDWARD SQUIRES 1915 - 2000 Edward Squires passed away suddenly, but peacefully at the Grace Hospital after only several months in the care of Luther Home. He was predeceased by his wife Anne; his mother, father and sisters, Jean and Julia. Today he is survived by his only son Richard Squires, Ilse; sister Doreen (Jack) Knipe and families all of Winnipeg; Dr. Frank (Jacquie) Squires and family of Toronto. Ed chose a quiet and simple funeral, cremation and laying of cremains within the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery. Ed retired from the CPR after some 40 years of service. He was a veteran of the RCAF during the war years. He was an ardent sportsman, both as a spectator and participant. He loved fishing, camping and picnics.
