PETER HARRIS October 15, 1909 - July 14, 2000 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Peter Harris. Peter was born and raised in Melville, SK. He worked for several years in the R.C.A.F. as a chef in Gimli and Winnipeg. Dad enjoyed spending time with his family and watching sports. He was an avid gardener and violinist. Peter leaves to cherish his fond memories and will be greatly missed by his wife Mary; daughters, Pat (Gerry), Sandy (Fred) son Alan (Dolores) seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Mary, Jessie, Sr. Patricia and brother Henry. He was predeceased by his parents Stefan and Tekla; brothers, Bill, Nick, John and Mike. Prayers will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 17 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, also at the chapel, with Rev. J. Suroviak officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Peter and his family wish to thank the doctors and staff of GH4 of Health Sciences Centre for all their kindness and care.
