CONNOR MARK LOCKEN September 20, 1993- July 14, 2000 Peacefully in his sleep at home and surrounded by his family, Connor went to be with Jesus after a courageous battle with cancer. Connors memory will forever remain in the hearts of his parents, Sharrol and Bruce, big bro Blake, Great Granny Nellie Mark of Morden, Manitoba, Grandparents Audrey and Johnny Enns of Morden, Manitoba, Nana Dora Mills of Winnipeg. Aunty Sherri and Uncle Bob, cousins Matthew and Natasha Purchase of Winnipeg, Uncle Johnny Enns, Aunty Staci Clavin, cousin Madison Clavin-Enns of Winnipeg area. Uncle Barry, Aunty Pam, cousins Jackson and Karly Locken of Nanaimo, BC. Aunty Brenda (Beema) and Uncle Rob Sinclair of Coquitlam, BC. Extra special Godparents Wendy (Beema) and Patrick and cousins Melissa and Derek Lawrence of Winnipeg and many other family members and friends. Connor was a unique and free spirited little boy who had a strong will and mind, and endless determination. From the time he was born, Connor never followed the patterns of life. We knew Connor was destined for something greater in life, this is what carried Connor through the many battles he fought with cancer over the last year and a half. He faced his challenges head on and dealt with them in a manner way beyond his years. He was a source of strength and hope and love, that was admired by all who loved him and also by all who took care of him at Cancer Care Manitoba and CK-5 ward at Childrens. Connor touched the hearts of many people in a way that only he could. We know his memory will be carried on forever, and that is his legacy to us here on earth. He is bound for greater things in heaven and we know he will keep everyone on their toes there too. "Funny Boy" says a fond farewell to all his school friends at W.M.E.S. We love you ten and ten sunshine, remember butterflies are free and so are you now.
