GEORGE WILLIAM CONWAY Peacefully on July 14, 2000 at the Red River Place in Selkirk, George Conway, aged 99 years, of Grand Marais, MB husband of the late Ada Conway. George was predeceased by his wife Ada in 1996; his only daughter, Lorena just two days prior to his own death and a grandson Darrell in 1977. He leaves surviving seven grandchildren, Wayne, Randal (Shirley), Cory (Roberta), Sheila (Wayne), Kerri (Garth), Shannon (Walter) and Melanie; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. George was born in Hintonburg, Ont. and had lived most of his life in Grand Marais where he farmed. He enjoyed taking his daily walks. He had been a resident of the Red River Place in Selkirk and the family would like to give special thanks to the staff for all their excellent care. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 18 at 11:00 a.m. together with his daughter Lorenas funeral, at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk.
