ANNA KAWA On July 17, 2000, Anna passed away at Concordia Hospital at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband Jan and children, Stanislaw, Grazyna and Stanislaw. Anna is survived by her loving family, her daughter Barbara (Jurek) and grandchildren, Anna, Magdalena and Ewa and God-daughter Stanislawa, as well as many friends, especially Alina and Andrew Moge. Born in Poland in 1914, Anna came to Canada in 1990 to be reunited with her oldest daughter Grazyna. Her life was full of obstacles and pain, but she was a fighter and her caring, strong spirit will be dearly missed. She was our north, our south, our east and west Our working week, and our Sunday rest, Our noon, our midnight, our talk, our song Her love will last forever.....S.H. Oden In celebration of Annas life, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning, Tuesday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m., preceded by viewing from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with an Oblate Father officiating.
