Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTINA HUTTON (CHRIS) Passed away peacefully at Lady Minto Hospital on July 17, 2000. Chris was born in Winnipeg, Man., December 5, 1921, moved to Vancouver in 1956 where she married her husband Robert Hutton in January 1957. She was predeceased by sister Ella, brother Jim (Emma). She is survived by nieces Margaret (Gord), Avril (Iian) nephew David (Lesley) sister-in-law Edith. A long time employee of General Paint, she retired in 1976, at that time both Chris and Bob moved to Salt Spring Island and have lived there ever since. Chris was a member of the Heather Belle Ladies Pipe Band in Winnipeg and a long time member of the Sons of Scotland Lord Tweedsmere Camp. After moving to Salt Spring she joined the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #92 Ladies Auxiliary. While a very proud Canadian Chris kept close ties with her Scottish heritage. She was a trusted and loyal person, who will be sadly missed by all those who new her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lady Minto Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, S.P.C.A.
