Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE RYBAK August 7, 1902 - July 13, 2000 Peacefully, on Thursday, July 13, 2000, George Rybak passed away into the arms of our Lord, aged 97 years. George was born on August 7, 1902. George was predeceased by his wife Anne in 1967. He as predeceased by his sons who bravely gave their lives to protect their country during the war. George worked with the railway until his retirement. George loved to walk through the neighbourhood, visiting with neighbours and children alike. He would always keep an eye out for the neighborhood children. George was an avid gardener, working and planting his garden until his late 80s. As a neighbour, he will be missed by all. We will truly miss his happy smile and his caring and friendly ways. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Ave., with interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. When I Must Leave You When I must leave you for a little while -- Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you through the years. But start out bravely with a gallant smile; And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and cheer And I in turn will comfort you And hold you near; And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting in the sky.
