ANNA K. PFEIFER Mrs. Pfeifer, 93, of 1609 8 Ave. S.E., a homemaker, died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at her home of natural causes. Anna K. Fuhr was born October 12, 1906, at Wattenscheid, Germany and came to the U.S. in 1927. On June 16, 1934, she married Henry Pfeifer at Rochester, NY. Mr. Pfeifer was pastor of several Baptist Churches in the U.S. and Canada including the Brethren Baptist Church in Winnipeg from 1973 to 1976. He died on January 15, 1976, and Mrs. Pfeifer moved to Rochester, MN that year. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the OASIS Group there. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and flowers. Survivors include her daughter Esther Pfeifer of Rochester; two sons, Dan (Cathy) of Wichita, KS and Dwight (Janet) of Nevis, MN; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by two brothers and three sisters. The memorial service for Anna K. Pfeifer will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 20, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. C. John Steer officiating. Private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Vine Funeral Home, there will be no reviewal.
