FRED GESKE 1914 - 2000 Mr. Fred Geske, beloved husband of Elsie, passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital, on Tuesday, July 18, 2000 at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by three sisters, Lily Schiewe, Wanda Harrison, and Lydia Kehler; and by two brothers, Gus Geske and Rudy Geske. Besides his loving wife Elsie, Fred will be lovingly remembered by his son Gil and his wife Sylvia, Gils daughter Tara; as well as five sisters, Olga Gabel, Martha Spittal, Bertha Hoffman, Norma Flemming and Lorraine Berryman; and by one brother Lawrence Geske. Fred retired from Federal Pioneer Limited in 1978, and previously worked at Malcom Construction and Manitoba Telephone. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 21 at 1:30 p.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Green Acres Lane. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Freds memory to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
