Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) MURDOCH CUTHBERTSON William (Bill) Murdoch of Kelowna, BC passed away in the Brookhaven Care Centre on Monday, July 17, 2000 at the age of 88 years. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Goldie; six children, Connie (Harvey) Dick, Dennis (Carol) Comm, Nancy Comm (Jim Stewart), Rosalyn (Hiroski) Kobayashi, Barbara (Bill) Brunlees, Tom (Kathy) Cuthbertson; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, James and Cliff and one sister Effie Brown. Bill worked for the Toledo Scales in Winnipeg and Edmonton for 31 years and served during the Second World War as Regimental Sargeant Major of The 8th Field Artillery Regiment. Friends who so wish may pay their respects from the church on Friday prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held from the Winfield Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 11370-Bottom Wood Lake Rd., Winfield, BC on Friday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Nelson and Mr. Brad Thorpe officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends who so wish may make memorial donations to the Adventist Disaster Relief Agency in memory of Bill. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with FIRST MEMORIAL FUNERAL SERVICES. Kelowna, BC 250-762-2299.
