VERNA MARY SCOTT (BUSHIE) In loving memory of our dear mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, godmother, Verna Mary Scott (Black) who passed away July 21, 2000. Verna was predeceased by her mother (Florence) and Father (John Sr.) brother (John Jr.) also her daughter (Pauline), son (Gordon) and by three infants. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Peter; her seven children, Barbara (Lorne), Sylvia, Edwin (Yvonne), Richard (Maureen), Norman (Kim), Rodney (Sheila) and Florence (Ken). Verna had 40 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Also her sisters, Emma, Lena (Edgar), Clara (Alfred) her brothers, Rod (Eileen), Ambrose (Martha), Adolphus (Joyce) and Allan (Lily). Viewing was held on July 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Wake services will be held at Vernas Residence in Hollow Water (Subdivision), on Sunday July 23, Monday July 24 and Tuesday July 25. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hollow Water Catholic Church, in Hollow Water, MB with Fr. Paradis officiating. Interment to follow at Hollow Water Cemetery.
