Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEPHEN LISOWESKI Stephen Lisoweski on Saturday July 22, 2000 at Misericordia Hospital. Stephen Lisoweski husband of Evelyn passed away at the age of 86 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Barry, daughter-in-law Judy, grandson Brad of Hamilton, Ont.; one brother Lawrence Lisoweski of Burnaby, BC; one sister Verna Maki, brother-in-law Bruce Maki of Redditt Ont.; niece Gail Lisoweski of Burnaby; niece Sandra Cumming and husband Billy Cumming and two grand-nieces, Ailsa and Glynis of Boston, USA. Stephen had the honour and privilege of serving in the RCAF during the war and retired as WO1 RCAF in 1969. Overseas service 112 Squadron, 402 City of Winnipeg Squadron, 414 Squadron, 417 City of Windsor Squadron, the African Campaign (support to the 8th army), the Middle East right through to Malta, Sicily and Italy. He was a member of the WOs and Seniors Mess, regular member of the Airforce Association 500 Wing. RCAF member of the City of Winnipeg, Air Reserve Association, RCAF 402, member of the Royal Canadian Air Force prewar club of Canada. Member of the RCAF Dodo Bird Club. Member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, member of the King Edward Lodge #93 Masonic Memorial Temple. Member of the Royal Canadian Legion #30, West Kildonan. Member of the Atlantic Garden City United Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 25 (11:00 a.m.) 17 Wing Community Chapel of the Good Shephard, 2265 Silver Ave. Father Douglas Ohs and Cannon Michael Rolph officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery. Family viewing Monday, July 24, 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Public viewing Monday, July 24, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Shriners. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
