ISABELLE TWOVOICE Peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2000, Isabelle Twovoice passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 76. Isabelle leaves to cherish her memory, son Norman Jr.; daughter Delores; son-in-law Jack; granddaughters, Amanda, Angela and Andrea; brothers, Darcy and James; nephews, nieces, in-laws, and friends too numerous to mention. Isabelle was predeceased by husband Norman Desnomie; dad Joe; mom Henrietta; sister Helen; brothers, Langford and Roderick; and a sister in infancy. Isabelle was born February 20, 1924 on the Waywayseecappo First Nation. She came to Winnipeg in the 1950s where she had resided ever since. Mom was a very kind, loving, strong and patient woman. She was always there to be of help to anyone who asked. She loved going to bingo where she was known to staff at C.O.F., going to Wayway with her son on holidays and spending time with her grand-daughters, especially Angela. Mom will be sorely missed by all those whose lives she touched with her gentle nature. Wake services will be held at the Wayway Band Hall on Wednesday, July 26 and Thursday, July 27. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 28. Interment at the Presbyterian Cemetery. Braendle-Bruce Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
