She was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1992; daughter Louise in 1952; grandson Brian Lafond; brothers, Paul, Joseph and Andre; and sisters, Carmelia and Albertine. Annette was born on December 27, 1913 in Radville, Saskatchewan and moved to Letellier at the age of two, where she resided all her life. Annette was a caring, loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family and community. She was a 4-H leader for many years, as well as an active member in the Catholic Womens League. With pride she sewed her families wardrobe and tended a large vegetable garden, as well as large flower beds whose endless blooms were something to behold. In 1990 Alzheimers disease began to steal Annette from all who loved her, and her special time in the garden was no longer possible. Special thanks are extended to the nurses and staff at the Red River Valley Lodge in Morris as well as the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne for their caring ways. The funeral mass will be held at the Letellier Catholic Church on Thursday, July 27 at 7:00 p.m. with Father Bremaud officiating. Cremation will have taken place. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2 or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by the Morris Funeral Home, 204-746-2451. The love of a wonderful mother Is something that always lives on, Filling the days with sweet memories Long after her presence is gone... You still feel the warmth of her caring, Her wisdom will never depart, For the love of a wonderful mother Forever lives on in your heart.
