G. EDWARD CYRE Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Saturday, July 22, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Edward Cyre passed away at the age of 77 years. He was predeceased by his mother, father, stepfather and sister. Edward leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Luella; three children, Tony (Julie), Candace, Mark (Siobhan) and three granddaughters, Patricia, Laura and Gwyneth whom he loved dearly, as well as several nieces and nephews. Edward was born in Yakima, Wash. and raised in Marengo, Sask. He volunteered and served in the R.C.A.F as a turret gunner in a Halifax bomber, during the Second World War. He was very proud of the fact that his flight crew was the best in their squadron. Edwards greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion Street with Reverend Fr. Gerry Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Dr. Beraznay and the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. "What we keep in memory is ours, unchanged forever" P.
