GORDON LARRY STEVENSON May 2, 1953 - July 22, 2000 It is with sadness the family announces that Larry Stevenson, on July 22, 2000, of Peguis First Nation, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, at the age of 47 years. Larrys memory will be forever cherished by his wife Marcella; sons, Rueben (Lori), Larry Jr. (Jen), Derwin (Tammy) daughter Chrissy; three grandsons, Edgar, Brenden, and Dylan; brothers, Ernest (Yvonne), Oliver, Colin (Marie) sisters, Dolly (Oliver) and Elsie (Stanford) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Larry was predeceased by his sons, Eric (1975) and Elden (1983) parents, Harry and Bella Stevenson; and his brother Albert. Larry was a family man who enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He worked at the Peguis School for 16 years, and had to quit due to his illness. Larry was also a pastor who touched the hearts of all he knew, and was loved by everyone. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family and many friends. The family would like to thank the Fisher Branch R.C.M.P., the Peguis Ambulance, the Percy E. Moore Hospital staff, and the Peguis Chief and Council. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, July 26 and Thursday, July 27, at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, July 28 at 1:00 p.m. All services will be held at the Peguis Church, Peguis, MB.
