JENNIE ELIZABETH VINT (nee LALONDE) JANUARY 22, 1899 - JULY 22, 2000 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jennie Vint, 101, at Beacon Hill Lodge on Saturday, July 22, 2000. Jennie was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1963. She is survived by her sister Cecile of Mississauga; daughters Betty Pawlicki of Winnipeg, Janet Jonat (Percy) of St. George, Utah; granddaughters, Vivien and Valerie Pawlicki (Bob) of Winnipeg, Barbara Lauzon (Neil) of Red Deer, AB, and grandson Ted Jonat of Stockton of the Pacific, CA. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Rachel, Nathan, Harmony, Suzanna and Silas. Jennie was a excellent and avid curler. She loved to play cards and continued playing them until two years prior to her passing. She was very fond of gardening, animals and knitting and had a deep love for her family. The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for the attention, care, respect and dignity with which they treated Jennie in her last year and a half. Very special thanks to Patsy, Shannon, Marsha, Evelyn, Brenda and Helen. Viewing will be Wednesday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Leatherdale Gardiner, 232 Kennedy St. Funeral service will be Friday, July 28 at 11:30 a.m. also at Leatherdale Gardiner.
