Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD (JOHN) STEPHENSON Suddenly at his residence on July 22, 2000. John was born in Eden, Man. on August 19, 1921 and is survived by his wife Mary; stepchildren, Linda (Steve) and Robby (Donna). He was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion and The Golden Eagles Rod & Gun Club. John had retired from Air Canada as of September 1, 1984, where he worked for 34 and a half years. Until we meet again John... John was predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Stephenson; his first wife Elizabeth; and his brother Donald. He is survived by his three sons, Ian (Jean), William (Daisy) and Cam; two daughters, Wendy (Jim) and Heather; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. John served overseas in the Second World War where he met and married Elizabeth. Upon his return to Canada he worked at Eatons and then Air Canada. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 28 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Cremation to follow.
