Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA KRIWUNCHENKO (nee HLADKY) Olga Kriwunchenko, aged 80 years, beloved wife of Anton, passed away suddenly on July 24, 2000 at her residence. Olga was born in Korowycia, Lisowa, Ukraine September 6, 1919. She came to Canada in 1977 and made her home in Winnipeg. She was employed by the Holy Family Nursing Home until her retirement. She was a faithful member of the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity for many years. Besides her husband Anton, Olga is survived by her son Michael Ryjko and wife Vera and their children, Olga and Michael of Ukraine; two sisters-in-law, Maria Hladky and Anne Hladky; as well as nieces and nephews in Canada and Ukraine. Olga was predeceased by her sister and three brothers. Prayers will be said on Friday evening, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 10:00 a.m. at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, 1175 Main St., with Rev. Fr. A. Harkavyi officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Derek Shettler, Joseph Hladky, Michael Haldky, Hialti Melsted, Tom Swirski and Donald Swirski.
