GERALD LORNE EYER After a brief illness, Gerald Lorne Eyer passed peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord on July 28, 2000. Gerald was born in St. Boniface, Winnipeg, on March 16, 1961. In September of 1967, he moved to the Manitoba Development Centre in Portage La Prairie. He lived there until November 1991. At that time, he moved closer to his family, residing at Two West in the St. Amant Centre. There, a deeply dedicated and loving staff cared for him. Gerald is survived by his father Jacob; his mother Hilda; his brothers, Jack (Lavina), Anton (Tracey) sister Heidi Owens (Phil) his nephew and nieces. The family would like to thank the St. Amant Centre, and particularly the staff of Two West. They greatly enhanced the quality of Geralds remaining years. All will miss Geralds laughter and quiet nature. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the St. Amant Centre. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 1 at 2:30 p.m. from the St. Amant Centre Chapel, 440 River Rd., St. Vital. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook Street 774-7474
