Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEOFF CAMPBELL With great courage, faith in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of his family, our beloved Geoff passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, July 24, 2000 at the age of 45 years. He was born on May 4, 1955 and is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Elaine; by his children Carly and Adam; his parents, Ron and Audrey Campbell; "Mom"-in-law Gertie Samborek; and by his sister Brenda (Richard) nephew Elliott; brother Richie (Jeanna) nephews, David, J.J. and Angus; sister-in-law Theresa Groening; relatives and by many friends. Geoff chose life and fought his illness courageously. Not only was he a wonderful family man who cherished his wife and children, but a loving son and a good friend. Geoff was a hard worker. He loved fishing, the outdoors, his friends and especially spending time with his children. Prayers will be said on Sunday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 288 Donwood Drive. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 31 at 10:00 a.m., also in the church with Rev. Fr. Ray Baudry, presiding. Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery, 917 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, MB. Our family would like to express a sincere and special thank you to Father Ray Baudry, who we love dearly and cannot thank enough for his many kindnesses and wise counsel and to all of Geoffs friends for their support at this time. Geoff was truly blessed with loving friends and family. Also, we would like to thank the families at St. Alphonsus School for their support; to all the many who prayed for Geoff, it was a great encouragement and a source of hope for him and his family during these very difficult days; and to the staff of the IICU Unit and H6 at the HSC for taking such good care of Geoff. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Geoffs memory to the St. Alphonsus School Bursary Fund, 300 Donalda Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R2K 1G7.
