Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADOLF ROSSNAGEL Adolf passed away peacefully at the Dr. Evelyn Memorial Hospital, Stonewall, on July 27, 2000 following a short illness. Adolf was born at Waldersee, Man. on September 16, 1917 to Gottlieb and Matilda Rossnagel. In 1936 he moved with the family to the farm just south of Stony Mountain. He married Audrey (Sutherland) on June 30, 1956 and they made their home in Stony Mountain. Adolf was employed at the City of Winnipeg Quarries in Stony Mountain for about 20 years while farming at the same time. In 1974 he decided to devote all his time to grain farming. When he could no longer farm, he still drove about three times a day to the farm and the surrounding area to check on the crops. Adolf was an active member of the Stony Mountain United Church. Adolf was predeceased by his brothers, Bill, Henry, Randy and John and his sisters, Tina Zieroth, Dora Mitchler and Linda Dilk. He is survived by his loving wife Audrey; his brothers, Ed (Maggie) and Ernie (Phyllis) and his sisters, Emma Ross and Lydia Buechler and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Audreys brothers, Percy, Ross (Sheila), Gordon (Lee), and John. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will he held at the Stony Mountain United Church on Monday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. Debrah Vitt will officiate. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family wish, donations may be made in Adolfs memory to the Stony Mountain United Church Memorial Fund, Box 176, Stony Mountain, R0C 3A0. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, in care of arrangements.
