MATHILDA (TILLIE) OELKERS Tillie (nee Pauley) Oelkers of Winnipeg, Man. beloved wife of the late George, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, Man. on July 28, 2000 at the age of 84. She leaves to mourn daughters, Brenda Macmillan and Marilyn Boland (Lukas) and son John (Debra) grandchildren, Amelia, Patti, Grant, Keith, Peter, Paul, Colleen (Jayson), Carrissa, Jake and Frank. Two great-grandchildren, Brock and Rackell; one sister Elsie Shaefer; sister-in-law Betty (Fred) Lindenschmidt; nieces and nephews and many dear friends. A special thank you to her nephew George (Gladys) Oelkers. Tillie was predeceased by her parents, Susan and Jacob; brother Henry and daughter Kathleen in infancy. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg. DEAREST NANA God sent an angel to spend some time with me and throughout eternity our love will always be. Her love held so much kindness, so much love to give. Even though she left this earth, within my heart she lives.
