IVAN VICTOR TAYLOR It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ivan Taylor, aged 57 years, on Thursday, July 27, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital. Left to cherish Ivans memory is his loving companion Annette Harper and her children, Ivans sons; Ivan Jr., Dana (Penny), Tyler, Bradley, Justin, Erin; one brother James and sisters, Janette, Ann, Marjorie, Loretta and Ellen. He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Esther; his one and only daughter Elizabeth; brothers, Edward and George and one sister Genevieve. Ivan worked for many years with MJ Roofing, until his illness made it impossible for him to continue working. He enjoyed the simple things in life and was content spending time at home watching TV, reading and completing crossword puzzles. Viewing will take place on Monday, July 31 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 1 at 2:00 p.m. also in the chapel, with Pastor Mark Becker officiating. Interment to follow at St. Clements Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Ivans name to CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Wpg, MB R3E 9Z9.
