ERIC R. E. HAGGLUND Peacefully, after a lengthy illness Eric passed away at the Deer Lodge Hospital on Friday July 28, 2000 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his son Eldon in 1979. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife Helen; his children Heather (Larry) of Brandon, Eric Richard (Deloris) of Calgary, Lynette (Ernie Nathaniel) his grandchildren Adam (Melena), Landon, Brennan, Tamara, Kiara, Honey-Marie (Jeff) and one great-granddaughter Holly, all of Calgary. Eric worked for many years for the City of Winnipeg as the Deputy Assessor. He was past president of the Assessing Association, as well a past president of the Appraisal Institute. For many years he lectured at appraisal institute courses and Realtors courses at the University of Manitoba and United College. He retired from the City of Winnipeg in 1983. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday August 2 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. at 10:00 a.m. A reception will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre following the service.
