DANIEL HANOVICH On July 27, 2000, Daniel Hanovich, age 85, passed away at the Donwood Manor Personal Care Home. Daniel is survived by his brother Nicholas of Winnipeg; sister Anne Evans of Seattle and sister Beth Pollock of Toronto; niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Karl and Steven and recently by his sister-in-law Mary Hanovich. Daniel was born in Winnipeg in 1914 and spent most of his life as a Market Gardener in the Birds Hill area. He was an avid reader with many and varied interests, a generous nature and a great sense of humour which were appreciated by many friends and family. A special Thank-You to the Angels on the second floor at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home for their loving care. According to Daniels wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 1 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Saviours Anglican Church, Munroe Avenue and Grey Street. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Daniels memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, R3E 9Z9. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements 586-8044.
