Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNARD PERRY Peacefully, on July 28, 2000 at Victoria General Hospital, age 73 years. Bernard was born in Brokenhead, Man. on August 23, 1926 and moved to Winnipeg in his teens. He married Stephanie (nee Galay) in Winnipeg on June 19, 1948. Predeceased by his mother Nellie; his father William and brother John, Bernard leaves his loving wife and their children, Kirk, Kenn, Alison (Robert) Askewe and Susan of Winnipeg and Deborah of Toronto. Bernard is also survived by his brothers, Harry and Sandy, and sister Eleanor (John) Isfeld of Winnipeg. His granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth will miss him greatly for his wisdom and devotion. Bernard also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Bern retired in 1990 after 42 years in the employ of GPI (formerly AEI Telecommunications). He also ran his own business, Perry Rubber Stamps for several years including those after retirement. His many hobbies included making handcrafted wooden toys and small furnishings. Bernard was a loving husband, father and grandfather, whose kindness and generosity will always be remembered. The family would like to thank the caring and supportive staff on Unit 5 at Victoria General Hospital. Special thanks also to Suzette and Bev of V.O.N. Services will be held Tuesday, August 1 at 10:30 a.m., Fort Garry Pentecostal Assembly, 1229 Windermere Avenue. A private viewing for family will be held at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fort Garry Pentecostal Assembly, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
