LEONARD LAWRENCE LECOY August 13, 1958- July 29th, 2000 Suddenly, at his residence, Leonard Lecoy, aged 41 years of Selkirk, left this world. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Jane and his only son Aaron Lee; his parents Lawrence and Jean; brothers Raymond of Selkirk, David of Winnipeg and Earl of Great Falls; sisters Gail of Lac du Bonnet, Lynn and Karen, both of Selkirk; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Charles. Leonard was born in Pine Falls, MB. and was raised in Great Falls and moved to Selkirk in 1970. He married Jane in 1977. He loved to hunt, fish and play sports. Leonard worked at various jobs including fostering children. He became known as Mr. Mom when Aaron Lee arrived. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, August 1st (tonight) at 8:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd at 2:00 p.m. also in the chapel with Pastor Terry Widrick officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes to take place at a later date. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
