Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK WESELAK Frank Weselak of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 80 years. Frank was born on January 20, 1920 in the R.M. of Rossburn, Manitoba to Anthony and Frances Weselak. He married Nellie Tkatchuk on November 4, 1944. At this time they lived in Strathclair, Manitoba where he worked as a farm hand and at the creamery in Shoal Lake, Manitoba. From there he worked in various places for the C.P. Rail as a Section Foreman for 35 years. He retired in Binscarth at the age of 60 years. He continued to reside in Binscarth until three years ago. He enjoyed spending time with his family, travelling, fishing, hunting, gardening and visiting with family and friends. Frank was predeceased by his mother Frances 1952; father Anthony 1968; wife Nellie 1979; brothers, Mike 1962, Bill 1980, John 1988 and Albert 1995; and sister Mary Gapka 1971. He will be dearly missed by Rose Weselak of Winnipeg; daughter Sylvia and husband Andy Jewar of Beulah; daughter Pat and husband Jack Graham of Russell; son William and wife Sandra of New Fish Creek, Alberta;son Jerrold and wife Merna of Nesbitt, Manitoba and daughter Darlene and husband Richard Trinder of Dugald, Manitoba. Also he will be greatly missed by his 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and his sisters, Kay Park of Shoal Lake and Angela Trach of Kanata, Ontario. Funeral service was held on July 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church in Russell with Father Dominic Yuen officiating. Interment followed in the Binscarth Cemetery. Prayers were said Monday, July 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Roman Catholic Church in Russell. Pallbearers were Franks grandchildren, Bernie Jewar, Wayne Pomechichuk, Kenny Jewar, Tim Weselak, Chris Trinder and Mark Trinder. Braendle Bruce Funeral Services of Russell were in care of arrangements.
