GEORGE HAROLD DAUM Peacefully, on July 28, 2000 at the age of 87 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Harold Daum, son of the late John and Barbara Daum. Born March 9, 1913, Harold was raised in Winnipeg and attended Dufferin School. He was a long term dedicated employee with Canada Packers where he was a Quarter Century Club member for several years prior to his retirement in 1978. Harold was predeceased by his beloved wife Winona (Clifford) in 1988. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Minnie Smith, Lydia Ramsay, Elsie Steele and brother Bill Daum. Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Carole, Beverly (Wally), Pat (Jim), and son Brian (Denise). His grandchildren, Ty, Jeff, Stephen, Sharon, Alison, Colin and his great grandchildren, Shayne, Alyssa, Ryan, Kaitlyn and Timothy will also miss their Grandpa very much. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Trans-Canada Highway East at Navin Road, the Reverend Michael Boulger officiating. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2H 2A6, or charity of your choice.
