ROLAND SCOTT Accidentally on July 30, 2000 at Bloodvein, Manitoba, Roland went home to be with our Lord and his beloved mom in eternal peace, leaving many cherished family and friends behind. Roland was the coordinator of B.F.I. and fund raiser for Bloodvein. He helped everyone who needed assistance. He was a faithful worker, and was loved and respected by the people of Bloodvein. We are all going to miss him. He leaves to mourn his passing wife Helena; 11 children, Matthew, David, Robin, Gayle, Randolph, April, Elizabeth, Sonia, Brian, Gregory and Art; father Wilson; two sisters, Carolyn (Alex) and Viola; and one brother Leslie. There are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Scott, on April 1, 1983. Wake services will be held on Tuesday, August 1 and Wednesday, August 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight with prayers at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue at Parr. Wake service will be held on Thursday, August 3 at the home of Wilson Scott, Hollow Water, Manitoba. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hollow Water Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the Hollow Water Roman Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leslie Scott, Dennis Green, Furlon Barker, Dennis Sinclair, James Traverse and Ken Turtle. ABORIGINAL FUNERAL CHAPEL 724 Selkirk Ave. 586-7700
