LLOYD STANLEY TRONRUD On August 1, 2000 after a long battle with cancer, passed away at Victoria Hospital. Lloyd is survived by his wife Shirley of 44 years; two sons, Ken, Bryan and his wife Marion and three week old grandson Timothy; one sister Bernice (Frank Theriault) sisters-in-law, Beverley (Herb Copland), Delaura (John Weidenbacher) and Elsie Tronrud; nieces, nephews and many loved relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Martha Tronrud and brother David. Lloyd was born December 30, 1927 near Inwood, Man. He worked for M.T.S. for 33 and one half years, retiring at age 55. Then he enjoyed his cabin. Lloyd was always willing to give a helping hand. He loved the Lord and his Church was very important to him. The family would like to extend our appreciation for all the support and to thank Dr. C. Mihalcioiu and staff at Victoria Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Sherwood Park Lutheran Church, 7 Tudor Crescent with Pastor Tom Lurvey officiating. Interment will be at 2:15 p.m. at Inwood, Man. Pallbearers are Mark and Bradley Tronrud, Bruce Buchanan, Larry Bates, Allan Zelmer and Augie Thorvaldson. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division), 193 Sherbrook Street, R3C 9Z9; or to the Sherwood Park Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
