VINCENT WENZEL RUNZER Peacefully, at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Unit, with his family at his side, Vincent Runzer passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2000. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Lorraine, Raymond (Linda), Lorne (Bonnie), Larry and Sandra; grandchildren, Michelle (Joe), Jim (Lisa), Cheryl, Tom (Adriana), Susan (Randy), Janie (Roger), Trevor and Rhaena; five great-grandchildren; brother William; nieces and nephews; special friends, Lisa and Harry. Vincent was predeceased by his wife Frances; brother Joe and sisters, Agnes and Edith. Vincent was a locomotive engineer with CNR for 37 years. He belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion #141 and Rossmere Country Club. He had many hobbies, golfing, bowling, fishing and especially dancing. Vincent was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and enjoyed his family. We love you and miss you so much. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to all staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit and also Dr. T. Panaskevich. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Service will terminate at the chapel with cremation to follow.
