Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARA MABEL WHITE Peacefully, on Tuesday, August 12, 2000 at St. Boniface Hospital, Clara White passed away at the age of 89 years. Clara was born in Winnipeg to parents who emigrated from England. She was predeceased by her husband Cedric in 1973 with whom she shared many years in work related, community services and church activities. Clara will be lovingly remembered by her son Don (Sharon) and daughter Doreen (Barry) Docking of Winnipeg and daughter Marlene (Don) Lawler of Vancouver; grandchildren. Karen (Kirk) and Kristin of Vancouver and Doug (Lisa), Donnie (Janelle), David (Nicky) and Dennis of Winnipeg; great-grandchildren, Maddison of Vancouver and Jenna, Devin, Ryan, Victoria, Anna, Laura and Samuel of Winnipeg. Another great-grandchild is expected later this month. She will be missed by her dear little dog Shandy. Clara was a devoted mother who loved her family with her warm and caring nature. She was an inspiration to all by sharing her gifts of kindness, encouragement, support and unconditional love. She enjoyed her summers with family members at Sandy Hook and Nutimik and travelled frequently to vacation spots outside Canada. Clara was a founding member of Westworth United Church, a past president and life member of the U.C.W., a member of West Winnipeg Rotary Anns, and was active in the McKinnon Guild, working at the Nearly New Shop for 24 years, and made hundreds of knitted mitts for children. She enjoyed her many years living at the Courts of St. James where she developed many close friendships. Though your smile is gone forever And your hand we cannot touch. We will never lose the memory Of one we loved so much. Thanks for the loving years you gave us The happy times we shared We all pray that when you left us You knew how much we cared. Clara has requested a private family service. If friends so desire, a donation in Claras memory can be made to the Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3N 0H9.
