MICHAEL ANTHONY (MIKE) DERCOLA July 19, 1909 - August 3, 2000 Following a stroke in July, Mike passed away peacefully at the Grace General Hospital on Thursday, August 3, 2000. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Josephine (Phennie) son Bert (Marcie) daughter Susan (Alan) Cowell; and his grandchildren, Debbie Mantie (Joey Snyder), Tracie and Brad Graham, Dale Mantie (Jennifer Anderson), Dean Mantie (Nicole Gill), Joely Dercola (Keith McEwen) and Mark and Sara Cowell. He was predeceased by his brothers, Peter and Tony; and sisters, Minnie Turoldo and Jennie Cascisa. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., Winnipeg, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. Viewing 30 minutes prior to mass. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dale Mantie, Dean Mantie, Mark Cowell, Joey Snyder, Brad Graham and Keith McEwen. Sincere thanks to the 5th floor nursing staff at Grace Hospital for their compassionate care during his stay in hospital.
