EDWARD LEARN GROBB August 3, 2000 Our husband, father and grandfather was born on March 27, 1916 on the family farm near Treherne. He passed away suddenly at his home in Treherne, having reached the age of 84 years, 4 months. He leaves to mourn, his wife of 54 years, Mary Grobb (nee Patsack) his three daughters, Doris (Ross) Gordon, Donna (John) Driedger and Bev (Gaby) De Spiegelaere. He also leaves his precious seven grandchildren, Shelli (Gian) Paolucci, Dale (Paula) Gordon, Mathew and Allison Driedger and Lianne, Jason and Danton De Spiegelaere, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was born into a family of four children. He was predeceased by his parents, Abe and Cora Grobb (nee Lee) his two brothers, Earl and David Grobb; sister Beatrice Green; sister-in-law Myrtle (Ross) Morgan, and by brother-in-law Harold Patsack. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, Jim Green, Ben (Louise) Patsack and Bob Carroll, and by sisters-in-law, Velma Grobb, Mae Carroll, and Margaret (Art) Boak. Funeral service will be conducted from the Treherne United Church, Treherne, Man. on Monday, August 7 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Stewart Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. All friends and relatives attending the service are considered Honorary Pallbearers. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Eds memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2H8 or to Cancer Care Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, Man., R3E 0V9.
