THOMAS WALTER HARRISON On August 4, 2000 at the Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, Tom Harrison, aged 72 years, beloved husband of Nellie Harrison of Winnipeg, formerly of Woodlands, Manitoba. Born November 19, 1927 at Woodlands; the son of Percy Harrison and Alice Parker. Tom was actively involved in the Woodlands Community and contributed to the development and construction of Oak Park Lodge; the development of the Woodlands Museum, and Woodlands Centennial festivities. Tom worked for Marshall Wells for most of his life and retired as Purchasing manager in the mid eighties after which he then moved to Winnipeg. Surviving besides his wife Nellie; daughter Linda; three grandchildren, Jody, Chris and Dave; two nephews Gord (Helen) and Keith (Monica) Long. Predeceased by his only sister Rose Long (Harrison) of Coburg, Ont. There will be no service. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
