ROBERT R. "BOB" CONKLIN (Retired Air Canada & T.C.A Employee) Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, Toronto, on Friday, August 4, 2000 in his 79th year. Robert Conklin of Lagoon City, beloved husband of Jean Conklin (nee Radford). Loving father of daughters, Margaret Axelson of Kingston, Nancy Flynn (Richard) of Innisfil, Catherine Conklin of Mississauga. Dear grandfather of Sarah & Steven Axelson, Christine & Tom Flynn. Loved brother of Gladys Conklin of Winnipeg, MB and predeceased by Murray Conklin and Janet Carter. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Roberts life will be held in the chapel of the Doolittle-Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, on Tuesday afternoon, August 8 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. A reception will follow in the Doolittle-Carson Reception Centre, 57 Neywash St., Orillia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sunnybrook Foundation, the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Orillia S.P.C.A. would be sincerely appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thanks to the Critical Care Unit at Sunnybrook for there professional and caring manner.
