LILLIAN HEARN (ANTONIO) November 28, 1917 - August 1, 2000 On Tuesday, August 1, 2000 with great sadness our beloved mother passed away to be with our beloved father who preceded her on January 20, 1999. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, Muriel (Victor) Savage and grandchildren, Clifford, Richard, Melody, Christopher, George, great-grandchildren, Brandyn, Matthew, Jonathon and Riley. Maxwell (Brigitte) and grandchildren, Kimberly, Jodi, great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brayden. Virginia (Peter) Schmidt of Edmonton, Alta. and grandchildren, Mark, Laura, Michael and Lisa, great-grandchildren, Erin and Daniel. Robert (Kathie) and grandchild Andy. Also left to mourn is her sister Stella of Saskatchewan. Mom was born in Ketchen, Saskatchewan, and married dad in Preeceville on October 26, 1935. They moved to Winnipeg in 1946 and then to West Kildonan in 1949 where they spent their remaining years. Mom was employed at T. Eaton Mail Order and retired from Eatons Garden City. She loved being out among people and made many lasting friendships. Besides the love she gave dad and all the children, their spouses and many grandchildren and great ones too, mom had the greenest thumb in West Kildonan, her flowers and yard were like a park. Mom won the battle of breast cancer. Many thanks to the home care people and the VON who made it possible to remain in her home where she wanted to be. Thank you one and all. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. on Monday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre.
