JARED LOVE It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved son Jared, who passed away on August 1, 2000 at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, Alta., after a lengthy and courageous battle at the age of 11 years, awaiting a heart transplant. Jared will be forever remembered and loved by his parents, Les and Lori Ann; Granny Irene Gilmore; uncles and aunts, Randy and Carla Gilmore, Jerry and Arleigh Kumitch and family, Larry and Joyce Love and family, Leith and Bonnie Love and family; Aunt Jean; special cousins, Riley and Luke; special guardians of Jared, Nancy and Brian; his best friends, Jamie Woods, Ryan Maxwell, Ryan Theoret, as well as the entire Bernie Wolfe School. Jared was predeceased by his Pop, Fred Gilmore, in 1992. Jared thoroughly enjoyed swimming, golfing, trips to the cottage and Christmas in Mazatlan. He was also very proud of making honour roll in Grade 5 as he worked very hard to accomplish this. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Variety Childrens Heart Centre in Winnipeg, Man., as well as to all the doctors, nurses and support staff at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Friday, August 4, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Variety Childrens Heart Centre in Winnipeg. Please dont take your organs to Heaven; Heaven knows we need them here. If only love could have saved him. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
