ROSIE BLASHKO Rosie Blashko of Shoal Lake, Manitoba passed away at the Morley House of Shoal Lake, on Wednesday, August 2, 2000 at the age of 89 years. Rosie is survived by her daughter Lillian and husband Peter Richcoon of Shoal Lake; sons, Paul and wife Helen Blashko of Winnipeg, Peter Blashko of Fairfax, John and wife Caryn Blashko of Winnipeg, Tony and wife Lil Blashko of Summerland, B.C.; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie Sworyk of Sandy Lake, Annie Zemliak of Brandon, Teenie Easchuk of Brandon and Helen Kashton of Beausejour. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church, Shoal Lake with Rev. George Malik officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be said Sunday, August 6 at 7:30 p.m. from the church. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Shoal Lake Lions Club "North Shore Project" or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Raes Funeral Service of Shoal Lake are in care of arrangements.
