EDOUARD JOSEPH ST-HILAIRE Le samedi 5 aout 2000, au Centre medico-social De Salaberry, a Saint-Pierre Jolys, Manitoba, Edouard St-Hilaire est decede paisiblement a lage de 90 ans. Il laisse en deuil, son epouse bien-aimee, Marie-Ange, nee Verrier, ses enfants, Celine (Gaston Bremault), Romeo (Simonne Saindon), Antoine (Jeanette Saindon), Fernand (Gracia Robidoux), Raynald (Estelle Lambert) et 24 petits-enfants et 32 arrieres petits-enfants. Lont precede dans la tombe, ses freres, Francois, Jean-Baptiste (Blanche Guertin), Joseph-Francois, (Maria Fontaine), Adelard (Dorothee Hebert), Pierre (Arthemise Dupuis), Wilfrid (Marie-Paule Bourassa), ses soeurs Clerinda (Omer Massicotte), Marie-Arthemise, Delphine (Wilfrid Courcelles), Eleonore (Alfred Fontaine), Leontine (Theophile Turenne), Rose-Anna (Joseph-Aime Courcelles). Edouard, est ne le 9 fevrier 1910 a Saint-Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba, fils de Francois et dOlive Lamontagne. Le 25 juin dernier, Edouard et son epouse Marie-Ange, entoures de leurs enfants et de leurs petits-enfants et arrieres petits-enfants, celebrerent leur 70ieme anniversaire de mariage. Les prieres auront lieu en leglise de Saint-Pierre Jolys le mercredi 9 aout a 18h30. La messe de la resurrection suivra a 19h00 et sera celebree par labbe Bertrand Kabongo et concelebree par le Pere Edmond Turenne, assistee par Gerard Desrosiers et Louis Gosselin, diacres. Linhumation aura lieu immediatement au cimetiere de Saint-Pierre-Jolys. La famille remercie sincerement le personnel des soins a domicile davoir si bien vu au bien-etre dEdouard, ainsi que le personnel du Centre medico-social de Salaberry qui a su continuer ces bons soins. Le fond Edouard et Marie-Ange St-Hilarie sera etabli pour beneficier les personnes qui contribueront a ameliorer la qualite de vie des aines. EDOUARD JOSEPH ST-HILAIRE On August 5, 2000 at the De Salaberry Medico-Social Centre, in Saint Pierre-Jolys, Man., Edouard St-Hilaire died peacefully at the age of 90 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Marie-Ange, nee Verrier, his children, Celine (Gaston Bremault), Romeo (Simonne Saindon), Antoine (Jeannette Saindon), Fernand (Gracia Robidoux), Raynald (Estelle Lambert), 24 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Edouard was predeceased by his brothers, Francois, Jean-Baptiste (Blanche Guertin), Joseph-Francois (Maria Fontaine), Adelard (Dorothee Hebert), Pierre (Arthemise Dupuis), Wilfrid (Marie-Paule Bourassa), by sisters, Clerinda (Omer Massicotte), Marie Arthemise, Delphine (Wilfrid Courcelles), Eleonore (Alfred Fontaine), Leontine (Theophile Turenne), Rose-Anna (Joseph-Aime Courcelles). Edouard was born on February 9, 1910, in Saint-Pierre-Jolys, Man., the son of Francois and Olive Lamontagne. Last June 25, Edouard and his wife Marie-Ange, surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren celebrated 70 years of marriage. Prayers will be held at St. Pierre Church on August 9 at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 7:00 p.m. with Father Bertrand Kabongo, celebrant and Father Edmond co-celebrant, Gerard Desroiers and Louis Gosselin, Deacons. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. The family expresses sincere thanks to the Home-Care Staff for having seen to the well-being of Edouard and to the De Salaberry District Health Centre Staff who continued this excellent care. The Edouard and Marie-Ange St-Hilaire Trust Fund will be established to benefit persons who contribute to the improvement of the quality of life for the elderly.
