LILLIAN PLATAU With great sorrow we wish to honour the passing of our Auntie Lil on Monday, August 7, 2000, at the Fred Douglas Lodge. Auntie Lil was born in Winnipeg, Man., and was first employed with the Cordite Plant in Transcona and retired from Canada Packers after 35 years of service. Her passions in life were her toy poodle "PEPI", flower gardening, needlecraft, softball and most importantly her family. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Mina Morrison, nephew Allan Morrison, nieces Linda Smith (Wayne) and Betty Scott (Jamie). Also left to cherish Auntie Lils memory are her great-nieces and nephews and great great-nieces and nephews, Richard (Karen), Kayla and Kyra, Jamie (Lisa), Katie and William, Debbie (Gerry), Ryan and Cole, and David and Graeme. She was predeceased by her parents Amalia and Gus, four brothers Harry, Albert, Robert and George and her precious great great-niece Jade. A service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 9, at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
