MARGARET WELSH (nee McLEOD) Peacefully in hospital on Thursday, August 3, 2000 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Alvin. Loving mother of Muriel (Roger Peterson) of Toronto and Leslie (Jean) Welsh of Saskatchewan. Cherished grandmother of Wendy (Stephen Raoux), Shauna McAllister and Gary McAllister and great-grandmother of Damian. Dear sister of Muriel, Ethel, Lillian and John. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her brothers William, Donald and Ranald. Funeral service for Margaret will be held Wednesday, August 9 at 10:00 a.m. from Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with visitation one half hour prior to the service. Interment and reception will follow. Special thanks to the staff of the Lynwood Retirement Lodge. In memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated.
